Every bold brand starts with a spark, and at Killer Creative, I build the fire. In this deep dive, I’m pulling back the curtain on three of my latest projects: Second Moon Studio, Honeydrip Press, and Citrus Sirens. Each one started with a powerful vision and a big “what if,” and together we transformed those ideas into brands that don’t just look good—they hit different. These aren’t surface-level makeovers. These are fully constructed identities with backbone, bite, and a whole lot of intention. Let’s get into it.

Second Moon Studio
Pottery with a pulse. A studio grounded in ritual and rebirth.
When Lauren Harper came to me with the vision for Second Moon Studio, she wasn’t just looking for a cute logo—she was building a space rooted in rhythm, reflection, and reinvention. As a ceramics studio, Second Moon is tactile by nature, but this brand needed to go deeper than glaze and clay. It needed to feel cyclical, intuitive, and alive. Something that celebrated both craft and community.
We pulled inspiration from lunar phases and slow-made rituals, anchoring the brand in soft curves, cosmic symbolism, and a muted desert-toned palette that feels as grounded as it is otherworldly. The primary logo embraces a hand-lettered, almost retro feel—playful yet intentional—while the alt mark leans into a cosmic badge of honor: Second Moon as a second chance, a sacred pause, a place to return to yourself.
From business cards to aprons, every piece of this brand was crafted to feel like part of the process, not just the polish at the end. This wasn’t about perfection. It was about presence. And together, we built a brand that feels like home to the hands that shape it.

Honeydrip Press
For lovers, dreamers, and wildly romantic storytellers.
Honeydrip Press is a boutique letterpress and risograph print studio dripping in sensuality, intention, and slow-crafted detail. This brand was built for the poetic rebels—the ones who blush at a love letter but write their own rules. Founded by a queer creative with a deep love for wedding suites, touchable texture, and juicy color stories, Honeydrip needed a visual identity that could hold both elegance and edge.
From the beginning, the concept was more than pretty paper. This was about romance as ritual—about storytelling that you can see, feel, and run your fingers across. We leaned into contrast: soft pinks and golds alongside a moody Midnight Ink, a sweeping calligraphic logo paired with custom patterns like “Lovers & Poets” and feathered quills. Every brand element drips with a kind of decadent intentionality—like pressing your favorite lipstick into a love note.
The result? A brand that flirts, whispers, and leaves a lasting impression. It’s unapologetically femme, deeply nostalgic, and built to honor the slow, sacred magic of meaningful print. Whether they’re crafting vow books or risograph prints, Honeydrip Press proves that paper still has the power to make you feel something.

Citrus Sirens
Bringing the party wherever the tide (or bachelorette) takes them.
Citrus Sirens is a traveling bar built for sun-soaked celebrations, flirty fun, and fruity cocktails that hit like a wave. Their sweet spot? Bridal showers, bachelorette bashes, and any event that needs a splash of sass and citrus. This brand wasn’t about subtlety—it was about spectacle. And it needed an identity as bold and bubbly as the drinks they serve.
We channeled vintage pin-up energy with a tropical twist, designing a cast of sultry sirens who each embody a different citrus flavor and personality. Think Golden Zest meets Spicy Papaya, with a whole lot of attitude and a little bit of nautical mischief. The logo system leans into this duality—clean lines with a kitschy twist—while the custom illustrations steal the show (as they should).
The color palette? Sunset and seafoam. Mango and lime. Creamy beach tones that scream tropical heat with a wink of mid-century nostalgia. Every detail—from glassware to graphics—was crafted to feel like a postcard from your wildest vacation, delivered with a wink and a wedge of lime.
Citrus Sirens isn’t just a mobile bar. It’s a full-on mood. And this brand brings the juice.
Why Creative Brand Identity Case Studies Matter
Each of these projects—Second Moon Studio, Honeydrip Press, and Citrus Sirens—is more than just a pretty brand. They’re strategic, story-driven systems built to reflect the soul of the business behind them. That’s what makes creative brand identity case studies so powerful: they reveal the depth, decisions, and design thinking that go into crafting something truly unforgettable.
If you’re building a bold business and your brand doesn’t quite match the magic behind it, let’s change that. Fill out my brand application and let’s see what we can create together.
